Update from Nigel Danby

I have received a number of requests for information regarding the format of District Assembly on 6th May. The format has changed this year and will consist of three main elements:

The breakout sessions will focus on how to maximise the Rotary dividend in planning successful projects. How to include Public Image, Membership and The Rotary Foundation in project planning will be at the centre of the discussion.
There will be a Market Place where specific issues that affect your club can be discussed with the District Service Chairmen and specialists
A session on Rotary Club Central, Rotary Showcase and DMS with "live" examples will be available to everybody.

Delegates will be divided into two main groups so that everybody will have the opportunity to be involved in all three parts of the Assembly. There are no committee breakout sessions this year; the market place is designed to replace those sessions and allow all members to discuss issues that matter most to them.

I would be grateful if you could explain the new format to all your members and encourage as many as possible to attend. Assembly is the forum where new ideas can be discussed and experience shared. Registration is through eventbrite, but if anybody has difficulties, please let me know.

Kind regards

Nigel
